Movement

Assessment

by Video

Sometimes examination in the veterinary practice isn’t the best way to assess your pet for underlying chronic problems that can contribute to problematic behaviors because of the adrenaline response that can be triggered during a stressful or exciting veterinary visit. Exploring movement in other environments with the help of slow-motion video can make the difference between making progress and treading water in your behavior modification plan.

When you submit videos and photos for a movement assessment, you’ll receive a report describing abnormalities or confirming normal movement. You can bring this report to your general practitioner or schedule a follow up exam with Dr. Young for additional exploration.

The cost of a movement assessment is $280. This does not include a meeting with Dr. Young.
